Harmeny Education Trust is a sector leading children's charity, providing care and education for children with complex additional support needs, as well as high quality training for care, education and health professionals throughout Scotland.


The Trust has reached a pivotal point where there is real opportunity for growth and now requires a highly committed Head of Finance & Estates to work as part of the Senior Management Team, in enabling organisational and service development, in line with our ambitious strategic plan.


As well as fulfilling a company secretarial role, the post holder will have responsibility for the financial management, governance and development of financial and corporate strategy. The post holder will also oversee the operational management of IT, estates, and catering & domestic functions within the Trust.


The successful applicant will hold a professional qualification in financial management, have a proven track record in financial, operational and strategic management at a senior level, in-depth understanding of charity finance, and the ability to oversee and develop our estates, IT and catering & domestic functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a transformational leader to join our talented senior management team and make a real difference in the lives of some of Scotland's most vulnerable children.
