JOB TITLE: Electrical bias Maintenance Technician (Fixed Plant)


Our client operates a waste management business in Stirlingshire. This includes production of renewable energy and waste recycling plant. The site is operated in accordance with current European and UK Waste legislation and the Scottish Governments Zero Waste Policy which sets targets over the coming years to vastly reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to help run and and maintain its 150,000 tonne state of the art modern waste recycling plant.

BRIEF JOB OVERVIEW We are currently recruiting an Electrical bias Maintenance Technician to maintain and service the new waste sorting plant equipment. The Electrical bias Maintenance Technician will ensure the continued running of the waste sorting plant. You will be responsible for the daily servicing of the state of the art machinery and equipment and for ensuring the equipment is kept in top working order. The job will entail checking and carrying out daily maintenance routines, scheduling regular services, preventative maintenance and plant start-up all in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations, supervising the running of the equipment, ensuring it is operated correctly, training operators, planning for breakdowns, ensuring safety. The Plant technician will participate in the sites continued Health and Safety improvements. You will have a recognised electrical qualification. You will have good experience from within a manufacturing electrical environment (fixed or mobile plant). You will possess a good degree of multi skilled attributes and you should have a reasonable understanding of mechanical systems too as you will be working alongside a mechanical technician on your shift and you will be required to assist him in his mechanical duties. This job will entail working 8.5 hours per day, 5 days per week. This may change to a shift system later in 2018 (Shifts to be determined).

You will be provided with targets and objectives to be met on a daily/weekly and monthly basis and monitored with your manager.

Start Rate GBP13.58 - GBP15.00 per hour Position: Temporary (May lead to permanent)
Working Days: 5 days (Monday to Friday) - 8.5 hours per day.
