Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Temporary Teacher of Mathematics at St. Modan's High School, Stirling until end June 2018. The successful candidate will be part of a very successful team and will work within the faculty of Mathematics, Technology and Numeracy. He/she will be a dynamic, flexible, forward-thinking, excellent teacher, fully committed to the values and aims of Catholic Education and to the holistic development of young people. He/she will contribute to whole-school development far beyond Mathematics. St. Modan's is a state of the art, modern facility only 40 minutes from Glasgow or Edinburgh, serving pupils of 3 Local Authorities. In the most recent HMIE inspection St. Modan's was awarded Excellent or Very Good in every measure and inspectors described our young people's behaviour as exemplary.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children. It is Stirling Council's policy to ask that you pay for this if you are on Level 4 of the Main Grade Teaching Scale or above.
