Job Description

Early Childhood Practitioner (Fixed Term for up to 12 Months) (PKC02502)
£17,731-£19,978 (36 hours per week, Term Time only)
Rattray Primary School

The successful candidate will support children's learning and social interactions in a pre-school setting.
Duties include the preparation of resources, contributing to planning, delivery and the evaluation of learnng activities.
Recording and reporting on children's progress.
Personal care of children as necessary.
Working with other agencies to support children to overcome barriers to their learning.
Participating in self-evaluation of the nursery and planning for improvement.

The Individual

Registration with appropriate professional body.
PVG checked.
Qualification in early years childcare to SVQ3 or equivalent.
Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
Able to work on your own or as part of a team.
Demonstrate an inclusive, child centred approach to children's learning.
Have previous experience of working with children in a formal setting.
First aid training, food and hygiene certification, or small holds training would be an advantage.
