Actuarial Trainee 12 Month Placement
Actuarial Student 12 Month Placement
Working at Prudential as an Actuarial Student means you will be part of a company with a global reputation and an exciting vision: to be the leader in helping customers achieve their long-term financial goals. If you're inspired to join us, and if you have the necessary qualities, then this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
This 12 Month Placement is open to you if you are an undergraduate, in the penultimate year of your mathematical (or similarly statistical/mathematical science) degree course. We may also consider recent graduates and students at the end of their second year of study who are interested in an Actuarial career.
You will gain valuable actuarial work experience from this 12 month placement, managing tasks to a similar standard to our graduate trainees. This means you'll gain excellent experience in the role of actuarial trainee, from producing and reporting quarterly financial results to establishing and running actuarial modelling systems.
You'll also receive training in specialist actuarial computer programmes. You will spend the full placement in one team, and be given clear responsibilities for the delivery of analytical tasks to a high standard.
To be successful for the placement you should hold:
