Senior Officer - Adult Protection
Based within Younger Adults, Headquarters, Motherwell, you will work on a variety of remits and tasks but will have a major role supporting Adult Protection policies, practice and procedures within Social Work Services, in conjunction within national, local and adult protection committee objectives. This work needs to be promoted within the framework of personalisation and social inclusion.
Possession of a Dip SW/CQSW, or equivalent, is essential along with significant post qualifying experience in a Social Work setting working with people who have a range of difficulties in their lives eg mental ill health, physical or learning disabilities etc and experience of working with children or adults at risk of harm.
Registration with a relevant professional body eg the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is essential.
