As part of the Investment Section within Planning and Development, the postholder will support the Harbour Master for efficiently and effectively managing the port and navigation district of Perth Harbour to meet the requirements of customers, statutory bodies, and Perth & Kinross Council. The postholder will also be responsible for the piloting of ships on the River Tay in Perth waters, with existing Pilots.
We are looking for a pro-active and dynamic individual with experience in navigating commercial coastal cargo vessels and experience in Harbour operations and port management. The postholder will display a high level of customer care and attention to health and safety requirements and team working.
