Team Leader - Localities, Housing & Community Care (Permanent) (PKC02499) 
£39,905 - £43,603
Early Intervention & Prevention Team, Pullar House, 35 Kinnoull Street, Perth

Roles at this level are professionally qualified, established specialists developing or delivering services within relevant service areas.  Typically planning, organising and managing specific areas, to co-ordinate activity across different functions.  Working strategically towards meeting council objectives to deliver key strategic priorities.  Working in partnership with a range of local and national partnerships and having a broad understanding of the corporate agenda.  Provide specialist advice and guidance in relation to legislation and quality improvement.  Manage and motivate employees to maintain a highly competent, creative and participative culture through effective leadership.

Job Title – Team Leader - Localities (Housing & Community Care)

The post requires significant experience in social work practices and knowledge of policy and practice relating to a range of areas.  To provide effective leadership and operational management working across Community Care localities with the emphasis on personalised services which includes physical disabilities, learning disabilities, palliative care, mental health and older people.

• Degree in Social Work
• Mental Health Officer Qualification or willing to work towards achieving this if required
• Management Qualification
• SSSC registration
• PVG Scheme
• Driving Licence
