The successful candidate would be responsible for the following - the day to day management of the 230 Holstein Friesian Ayr Calving and 3 x daily milked Herd, milking, breeding, health management, electronic recording of all cow events, daily recording to meet current farm assurance and welfare standards, be a team player and have the ability to respect Research Commitments. Experience of intensive dairying is advantageous as are all aspects of high welfare standards. Applicants preferably should have a recognised agricultural qualification but relevant training will be made available. Alternate weekend working is required. Accommodation can be included if required.

Skills and Experience:

- Sound working knowledge of the NEC and FIDIC Forms of Contract.
- Eye for detail, be commercially astute and technically competent and have the ability to find opportunities and angles that others miss.
- Relevant degree qualified and have at least 5 years of relevant post graduate experience.
- Self-motivated and have an ability to organise and manage your own workload.

Whilst technical skills are important you also need to share with them their pro-active approach, have an outgoing personality and have a burning desire to provide outstanding service to their clients.

- NEBOSH or IOSH.
