You should have demonstrable skills of having worked in a senior position within a busy and diverse service, for children with learning disabilities. Strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate with various professionals and previous experience of budget and rota management is essential.

Working knowledge of current legislation including GIRFEC, SHANARRI
well-being outcomes and the Curriculum for Excellence is essential and should be demonstrated through service delivery and support planning.

The successful candidate must possess or be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.

Project Manager
38 hours per week* - £26,265 - £29,125 – Post Ref No: 48/14.

*Your working week will be organised to meet the needs of the service, therefore weekend and evening work is expected as is participation in the on-call rota.

Responsibilities

Candidates should have:
• Knowledge and understanding of the production techniques for metal forming and fabrication
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and develop production engineering requirements and procedures for set-up, proving and implementing efficient production processes.
• Skilled in utilising Lean tools and techniques and developing a continuous Improvement culture
• Be able to communicate efficiently as part of an integrated project team, involving stakeholders at all levels, which includes proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
• Be able to gather, analyse and solve problems using recognised problem solving techniques.
• Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment with heavy handling requirements
• Experience of proving and implementing fabrication processes and procedures
• Working knowledge of profile burning, weld preparation and plate rolling processes
• Degree / HNC qualified in the appropriate fabrication engineering discipline
• Formal training in Lean Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of process simulation software
• Understanding of MRP process
• Has good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera
