Working in the Internal Sales team and based at the Bellshill office near Glasgow, the IT Sales Account Manager position combines account management and new business development across Scotland and the full responsibility for a £m territory sales target.
Whilst telephone based, the IT Sales role has true territory ownership, planning and forecasting responsibilities, accountability for customer relationships (schools, Local Authorities and the Scottish Executive) the autonomy to develop a territory sales plan and make prioritisation decisions, the remit to create innovative bespoke customer IT solutions (with the support of field sales, technical and educational specialist colleagues) and ultimately negotiate and close deals.
Drawing upon RM Education's vast IT software & service portfolio, orders can be £3k to £300k and encompass IT infrastructure, networks, broadband, eBooks, cloud hosted solutions and annual support services. IT software/service sales skills in any industry (prior experience into the education sector would be useful, but isn't essential as full training can be provided). Proven track record of establishing strong customer relationships and growing accounts. Driven, high level of energy, enthusiastic and target & results oriented. Exceptional customer care, strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication and flexible to tailor approach and communication style to different customers. A proactive and consultative approach, strong active listening, objection handling, negotiation, influencing and closing abilities. Planning and organising skills to handle the workload and to prioritise activities across a large group of customers in a dynamic work environment.

Petrofac is looking for talented people to be part of an exciting new discovery in the Southern North Sea.

GDF SUEZ E&P UK awarded Petrofac an Integrated Support Services Contract in 2011 to support their operations in the UKCS, the first of which is Cygnus – the largest gas field discovery in the Southern North Sea for more than 25 years.

The field, located 150 kilometres off the coast of Lincolnshire, has a huge gas reserve potential of 18 billion cubic metres, and with first gas expected late
2015, it is predicted to have more than 30 years life of field.

Petrofac, which specialises in a full range of oilfield services, operates more than 30 projects worldwide through its Offshore Projects & Operations business, and is working with GDF SUEZ E&P UK on the operational phase of Cygnus.

The field will be developed through one main hub – Cygnus Alpha; a permanently manned hub with three bridge-linked state-of-the-art platforms providing brand new accommodation and recreational rooms.

On plateau in 2016, it will be the second largest gas producing field in the UK and is expected to account for 5% of UK domestic gas production, meeting the demand of almost 1.5 million UK homes. Centrica and Bayerngas are partners in the development.

Steven O’Brien, Operations Manager, Petrofac Offshore Projects & Operations said: “It’s an exciting time to be part of Petrofac and we’re looking for talented people with great energy to join our journey and help us deliver this major Southern North
