The successful candidate will report to Regional Engineering Manager and be responsible for implementing and executing the planned maintenance programme, supervise engineers and plan and coordinate work orders, Controlling of stock and spare parts. Enforce SHE standards and assist with essential repairs, identify potential risks and generally support all maintenance and operational activities whenever required.

Key duties will include:
• Deployment, control and management of site based technician
• Liaise with site management and ensure issues are communicated, priorities and actions are understood and updates are provided
• Ensure H&S standards are maintained and all related documentation is completed
• Ensure, through the maintenance team on site, there is efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance at all times and
that downtime is minimised
• Drive and lead solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues on site
• Ensure the planned preventative maintenance program for the site is implemented
• Identify requirements for critical and other stocked spare parts and ensure proper use of stock system by all staff to maintain
the integrity of stock management
• Support and be accountable for ensuring maintenance KPI targets are achieved
• Lead, support initiatives and be proactive in the development of practices and systems
• Be responsible for managing, training and disciplining staff up to written warning level
• Attend all nominated training modules as necessary
• Populate and maintain the CMMS once implemented
• Cover holidays and work load as and when required
• Reduce spends as targeted in designated areas
• Assist in mechanical and electrical plant upgrades as assigned by the Engineering Manager to ensure they are completed on time and effectively

They are dynamic, growing, family orientated and they specialise in Installation and Maintenance support, Voice services, Data services and Telecommunications equipment solutions for a wide variety of Telecommunications and VOIP systems from many world leading Telecoms manufacturers including Samsung. As part of their ongoing business success and expansion plan, they now seek additional Field based Telecoms Engineers with Samsung Officeserv training and experience to join the Nationwide Telecoms Installations Team.

Telecoms Field Engineers (x6) - Samsung Officeserv Panasonic IP
UK wide locations including - Scotland (Glasgow / Edinburgh), East Midlands (Derby / Nottingham / Leicester), Berkshire (Reading / Newbury), West Yorkshire (Leeds) & North London / Hertfordshire.
c£25K-£30K (neg.) + Van + O/time + call out + cross training.

Main purpose of job - Installation (including cabling), commissioning and programming Samsung Officeserv Telephone systems into businesses.

Experience - Minimum of 2 years Installations experience of Samsung Officeserv Business phone systems and periphery telecoms equipment/solutions like OAK, IVM, VOIP, IP, Networking (advantageous), similar products like Panasonic, Avaya IP Office etc.

Responsibilities

" Install, commission and programme Samsung Officeserv telephone systems
" Provide the highest quality and professional cabling installation
" Work in line to work schedule and customer expectations at all times
" Ensure that the customers' needs are met.
" Assess site and project to ensure all information is correct
" Complete paperwork accurately
" Providing a courteous and professional service at all times
" To support other areas of the business where necessary
" To carry out duties in accordance with the company's policies

Essential skills/Experience

" Samsung Officeserv trained and experienced (the more the better)
" Excellent Cabling installation experience to the highest level
" Strong Telecoms (pabx) knowledge/training including VOIP and networking
" Ability to manage requests and enquiries in a courteous manner


Starting salary c£25k-£30k basic (neg.) + Van + call out + O/time. Cross training available.
