* General Fitter:You service, maintain and repair plant machinery, such as JCBs or Caterpillar excavator. You'll become an expert in workshop practice, understanding petrol and diesel engines, generators and pumps.



* Engineer logistics specialist

Working on base and in combat zones, you make sure essential supplies get to where they’re needed, safely and at the right time



* Geographic support technician

You compile and manage geographic data from a variety of sources. The detailed analysis you provide, with access to advanced IT kit and geographic information systems, is essential.



* Survey engineer

Your input is vital in large-scale building projects. You’ll map out the site before work starts, using GPS technology to ensure the site is set out correctly to plan.



Qualifications to gain include:

* Apprenticeship Level 2 NVQ in Warehousing and Storage
* Foundation Modern Apprenticeship (FMA)
* Level 2 NVQ in Engineer Maintenance and Installation
* Variety of driving licences
* National Certificate in Building Studies and Computer Aided Design
* NVQ Level 2 in IT
* Level 5 Higher Diploma in Engineering Surveying





Qualifications required: Not all of these roles require any previous qualification. Some may require 2 GCSEs at C grade in English Language and Maths /Science/ICT.

As a result of continued growth we are now looking to recruit a fully qualified Commercial Refrigeration Engineer preferably with extensive retail experience to cover a number of retail sites for our client base of national chains.

The role will mainly involve reactive calls to these sites. Some planned service operations and installation work is from time to time. You will be required to carry out works on all commercial refrigeration systems within their client`s premises which predominantly would be Restaurants and commercial buildings.

Flexibility in working hours and mobility in travelling throughout the area will be essential as will the requirement to work on call on a rota basis.

You will be positive in approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in refrigeration engineering, be positive and motivated and if needed be able to think outside the box. Previous experience in a similar role a must.

You should be a qualified Refrigeration Engineer and must possess a C&G 2079 certificate (F Gas Regulations). We can only consider people who have the 2079 (F Gas) qualification, so please do not apply unless you have this.

The types of equipment you will be working on include Commercial Kitchen Fridge, Bottle Coolers, Multi-Deck Chillers, Cellar Cooling and Walk in Fridges and Freezers (Split and Pod)

Candidates must also have a full and valid UK driving licence.
We provide excellent pay plus benefits for the right Engineer including, call-out allowance, company vehicle with Sat Nav, industry tools and mobile phone.

The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for providing mechanical support, engineering

expectancy is achieved. Provide maintenance cover to the operation of the plant working on a three shift pattern.

Key duties will include:
• Providing technical support to all operations
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Carrying out installation work and plant upgrades to the required standards
• Reporting through computerised maintenance management system all work carried out
• Development and implementation of a programme of planned preventative maintenance and inspection to minimise downtime,
provide records of recurrent faulting and engineered solutions to these issues
• Anticipate machine failures and make such changes or recommendations to prevent reoccurrence to minimise downtime
• To be available for planned maintenance shutdown periods (reasonable notice will be given)
• Ensuring H&S standards are maintained and all related documentation is completed
• Liaising with external contractors on specific repairs/maintenance work
• Supporting initiatives and being proactive in the development of equipment, practices and systems
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with all company policies, processes and procedures
• Undertaking any other such reasonable job related tasks as the Company may require
