Principle Accountabilities

To lead on and deliver digital analytics activities, ensuring that they result in rich insight and actionable recommendations, which are communicated effectively to ensure understanding and implementation.
To identify the needs for digital analytics and insight and to collaborate with colleagues to develop the overall measurement framework for digital activities
To design and deliver a work plan to fulfil these needs and individual plans as appropriate for each campaign/activity. This will include analytics, research, optimisation and testing. The work will include routine, regular reporting, in-depth analysis and the technical implementation of required mechanisms.
To use own expertise and knowledge to provide advice to colleagues in developing, tracking and evaluating their strategies, campaigns and activities (ie, providing support at every stage of the campaign as necessary), and to interpret and present the findings from analytics and analysis in clear and compelling ways. This will require close working with colleagues and a sound understanding of their objectives
To be responsible for the performance management of the Digital Analytics and Insight Analyst, managing and developing them to effectively execute their role and objectives
To develop our digital analytics and optimisation methodologies and resources, reflecting industry best practice. This will include identifying, contracting and managing the optimum suppliers of analytics tools
