We are seeking to recruit a motivated individual to assist with the development of a range of products through part testing, particularly in high-pressure, high temperature environments. Follow procedures and drawings to complete research and development testing within tight deadlines.

The role includes the day-to-day operations within the test areas, and involves close liaison with other members of the engineering department to ensure efficient planning and testing.

The role will report to the Testing Engineer with the responsibility of:

* Assemble and build test rigs to assembly drawings, test procedures and work order requirements.
* Conduct tests in line with the defined assembly & test procedures.
* Maintain records and results of tests.
* Assist with writing test procedures as required.
* Maintain stock list for items such as O-rings and backup rings.
* Liaise with inspection and engineering functions with regard to non-conforming or failed test components.
* Safe storage of test assemblies and tools in identified locations.
* Identify assembly tools, test cap & fixture requirements for new products.
* Analyse test failures and contribute to redesign work.
* Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all QHSE requirements.
* Carry out tasks assigned by the Team Leader / Line Manager

Skills and experience desired for this position, however we realise that it is unlikely that a single candidate will possess all of the above, however if you believe you have the ability to learn, please apply.
