Job Advert

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating work placements for students with additional support needs and effectively supporting them in the transition between College and post-college opportunities in accordance with College and Team policies and procedures.

Candidates should be educated to HNC/D level or equivalent in a relevant subject area and have strong IT skills including the use of the Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.

Previous experience of planning and prioritising a varied workload to meet deadlines are essential for this role. Applicants must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on their own initiative without supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Educated to HNC/D level or equivalent in the relevant subject area
2. Full Clean UK Driving Licence
3. *Basic Risk Assessment

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

1. *Up to date experience of working with young people with additional support needs
2. Up to date experience of supporting the development of key employability skills

SKILLS

1. Good oral and written communication skills
2. Strong planning and organisational skills
3. Able to work on own initiative and without supervision
4. The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

6. IT literacy
