Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (07.00 - 15.12) at Strathkinness Primary School & Guardbridge Primary School

Undertaking duties related to the operation of buildings and surrounding grounds as well as providing a School Crossing Service to schools and associated Education Establishments.

Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.


Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.


You will work under the direction of the Janitors to deliver a multi-functional service to Education Establishments.

Undertaking prescribed cleaning procedures as directed,

Maintaining the security of the premises,

Responding to emergency call-outs in accordance with established procedures.

You will be a team player with good verbal communications and organisation skills. You will have experiences of providing security to premises and have the ability to deal with people at all levels.
