Job Title Tax Operational Analyst

This role is within the Tax Operations team The role holder will be accountable for delivering exceptional quality regulatory monitoring and reporting services covering HMRC & IRS Tax Legislation including US FATCA and CRS (Common Reporting Standards), across a diverse range of business segments including UK Private Bank, Investment Bank and Brokerage Services . The role holder will assist in the creation, communication and implementation of Business Change Initiatives The role holder will have an in depth technical knowledge underpinned by sound problem solving and analytical skills

The role holder will be able to provide a high level of support to all colleagues through specialist skill and knowledge of complex processes such as Tax Documentation Validation The role holder will contribute to the delivery of exceptional business performance and be responsible for providing an excellent level of service through efficient workflow management

Your Role

Accountability for the delivery of regulatory monitoring and reporting activity in the UK and Foreign markets in accordance with regulatory requirements with a focus on accurate, compliant and timely execution of our obligations Responsible for carrying out Quality Monitoring checks of work completed within the team Ensuring all work is carried out to meet all departmental and regulatory deadlines in accordance with our control environment Work in co-ordination with other team members to ensure effective delivery of all services offered to internal and external clients Provide a high level of support to all colleagues through specialist skill and knowledge of complex processes such as Tax Documentation Validation

Essential Skills

Educated to higher grade level or equivalent Industry recognised qualifications; in either accounting or the security industry would be a distinct advantage.

Desirable Skills

• Any experience in a risk and control environment or role would be to an advantage
• The role will have a high level of responsibility and ownership so
• Experience of RCSA completion and conformance testing
• Knowledge and understanding of CASS regulations
