Quarriers Merrybrook Service offer residential care for six adults between the ages of 17-31. Working as part of an experienced and supportive staffing team, our Support Workers provide direct physical assistance, emotional support, advice and encouragement in all areas of peoples’ lives. As well as supporting with duties such as personal care, administering medication, peg feeding and non-verbal communication you will support with a range of activities such as adapted ski-ing, tandem go-karting, water sports, swimming and holiday breaks. Promotion of relationships with family, friends and external agencies is also a very important part of the role to help the people we support lead a full and active life.

IT skills are required for all Quarriers vacancies.

Successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC. Where you are employed in a service where registration is compulsory, you must ensure that you register in the appropriate category within 6 months of starting in post. After registration, there is a requirement to be qualified within 3 years
