Job Purpose:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Physiotherapist who would welcome the opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skills within the Care and Learning Community Physiotherapy Team, The Highland Council. We are a fully integrated service employed by the Highland Council under AFC terms and conditions. The region covers some of the most beautiful landscapes from mountain to sea and offers a wide range of activities from hill walking, kayaking and biking to cultural events.
The post is based in the Birnie Centre in the grounds of Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. The successful applicant will be involved in providing a physiotherapy service to children of all ages up to 19 if still in school with primarily a neurodevelopmental disability, and may include complex physical disability, illness or injury. The successful applicant will also gain experience in treating children within the Children's Ward, Special Care Baby Unit and at the Physiotherapy Out-Patient Department in Raigmore Hospital.
Applicants should preferably have at least two years post graduate experience in various specialities.

PVG Scheme Membership
