Salary:  £16187 - £17683 per annum pro rata (£8.87-£9.69 per hour)
Permanent part time position 
16 hours 30 minutes per week, 38 weeks per year (term time)
Mon & Tues 08:30-13:10, Wed 08:30-15:30 & Fri 08:30-10:30 (less breaks)

Dunbar Grammar is a six-year, fully inclusive, comprehensive, non-denominational and co-educational school. It serves the town of Dunbar and the surrounding area. It is one of six secondary schools in East Lothian. 

The present building was opened in 1961 and is situated in an attractive site in the centre of Dunbar. It has spacious playground areas and a games field within the school grounds.



Job Details

To assist the Science Technician in preparing practical experiments and paperwork for the science classes. The job also involves cleaning and maintenance of equipment within the science department. The Jobholder is responsible for ensuring that equipment is available for use by teachers and students.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to SVQ2, National Certificate, Higher or equivalent in a relevant discipline. and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
