Project Officer (Repairs)
Based in the West District Office, Sinclair Street, working full time, 37 hours per week. We have two posts available: one permanent and one temporary for 1 year from date of start. Please indicate in your application which post(s) you are interested in.
You will have a HND or SVQ Level 4 in a relevant discipline.
You will develop, implement and supervise the Council's repairs and maintenance work to improve and maintain the housing stock, ensuring optimum contribution of other Departments, Agencies and Contractors.
You will have Housing/asset management related experience, wide experience of repairs and maintenance of buildings and working directly with the public, good communication and problem solving skills, be able to plan/prioritise your workload, and have budget monitoring, customer care and team working experience. You will also be analytical, able to work under pressure and computer literate. You will be able to attend evening meetings.
