Job Description

Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday - 5 over 7 shifts, 7.2 hours per day

As part of Fife's Decriminalised Parking Enforcement team you will be required to supervise the day-to-day operation of parking attendants and ensure the compliance with the relevant traffic regulation orders associated with metered on-street, off-street parking and waiting restrictions.

The job will require rota working which will involve working on Saturdays and Sundays and you will be expected to travel throughout Fife as part of your daily duties.

Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.



Good general level of education.


You will be responsible for the allocation and management of weekly duties and rotas for Parking Attendants. You will supervise the Parking Attendants ensuring they carry out their duties appropriately in both on and off street   locations. You will preparation and produce monthly management reports for all Parking Attendant operations.  You will also deal with parking dispensations and parking enquiries from members of the public.

The Individual

Previous experience of working in a parking enforcement organisation and/or relevant supervisory experience in a similar environment as wells as proven customer care skills and the ability to supervise staff/monitor performance in an effective and fair manner is essential.
