The Community Learning Network has a vacancy for an Adult Learning  ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) tutor working in various Community Learning settings in Fraserburgh and  Peterhead in line with national priorities and identified need. Applicant must be available to deliver community-based ESOL provision at times to suit learner needs, which may include daytime or evening classes.

You will have experience of supporting adult literacies or ESOL learners in a variety of learning or developmental settings and have a recognised qualification, such as ITALL, PDA ITALL or PDA iTESOL or a suitable equivalent. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate experience or an understanding of the Community Learning ‘social practice' model of delivery and a strong commitment to on-going training in this approach. The work will be small group work for those with either no or minimal English.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Working pattern 2.5 hours per day (days to be confirmed)
