Role Profile

Product Consultant role offers an opportunity to work within international team of Consultants preparing NetReveal to derive intelligence from high volume customer data. NetReveal, our flagship product is constantly gaining market dominance in the detection and prevention of financial crime and fraud. It has also been shown to be applicable in credit risk as well as counter-terrorism, anti-money laundering and other investigative functions.

Inside the team you will be a link between Technical and Business consultants, using your experience to deliver fine-tuned solution to the client.

What you will be doing
The key responsibilities of a Product Consultant are to:

  • Designing, developing and documenting configurations for the NetReveal to meet client requirements
  • Deploy enterprise solutions within global top tier financial institutions
  • Engage in different projects delivering varied applications of NetReveal
  • Work with teams based in Poznan, and colleagues in the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America and APAC
  • Adhere to and enhance software development approaches and methodologies
  • Deliver high quality work to meet client expectations and project deadlines
  • Investigate and resolve application related issues
  • Go beyond routine questioning to find the underlying causes of problems or discrepancies to identify problems and develop sound solutions
  • Participating in the preparation for and delivery of workshops with clients' fraud, risk and compliance teams, investigators and data teams
  • Use your organisational and planning skills to maintain performance and manage your time effectively
Essential skills
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience or equivalent in similar role
  • Degree in a financial market or technical discipline such as computer science, banking or economy
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Proven communication and team working skills
  • Confident presenting complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Passion for analysis and problem solving
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • A flexible approach to solving client problems and a commitment to high quality deliverables
Desirable skills
  • Knowledge / previous experience in use of PL/SQL and experience of databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server
  • Previous experience in client - vendor project environment
  • Familiarity with ETL processes
  • An enthusiasm for working with clients across EMEA region (potentially including temporary placements abroad)
  • Knowledge / previous experience in deployment/managing/maintaining of application server/s
  • Knowledge / previous experience in the area of requirements engineering principles/frameworks
  • Understanding of programming languages principles
  • Knowledge / previous experience in financial sector
  • Knowledge of software development project tools, principles and techniques.
  • additional foreign language would be a strong advantage
