Fully trained jobholders must hold a minimum SVQ3 level qualification in Youth Work, or equivalent subject, and have experience leading youth activities.
The purpose of this post is to deliver key goals on the Pupil Equity Funding through small group and one to one engagement. This will include face to face delivery with a variety of learning/employment partners and local people in a group and one to one basis.
Support to young people within Midlothian to close the attainment gap and to secure positive destinations through individual support and targeted interventions. Support and implementation of strategies to help young people with additional support needs including challenging behaviour to secure positive outcomes for learning, life and work.
Ensure effective assessment planning, delivery and evaluation of caseloads. Provide effective co-delivery of group work to clients in relation to Closing the Gap.
Represent the High School at a variety of events including Careers Events hosted by Schools and partners.

Based on you working 36 hours over 39 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £18,612.44 per annum.
