Job Description

The work pattern for this 14.25 hour per week post is Monday to Thursday 4.00pm-7.00pm, Friday 4.00pm-6.15pm. 

A vacancy has arisen for Facilities Assistant in Clydebank High School.

The postholder will be responsible for the day to day operation of facilities Management Services within the establishment. They will require to undertake a combination of duties with a flexible day to day variable need this will include, Staff supervision, key holding responsibility, cleaning duties and porterage, food handling and various other duties as detailed in the job profile.

The postholder will require to adhere to Food Safety Systems of Work and Health and Safety legislation
would be an advantage as would previous experience in this line of work. The successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiate as well as part of a team.

**This is a part-time post and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.**



Requirements

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.

Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.



Responsibilities
