We are looking for an experienced arts/heritage professional to join our team as Cultural Coordinator. The purpose of the role is to develop and coordinate programmes of learning and engagement activity that will:
• enhance customer/visitor experience of Falkirk Community Trust's cultural venues;
• increase participation and lifelong learning opportunities in arts, heritage and cultural activity;
• raise awareness of, and engagement with, our area's cultural assets (facilities, resources, programmes)
You will be well organised, enthusiastic and imaginative. Your energy and commitment to widening access to arts and heritage drives you to develop exciting and relevant programmes of activity, partnerships and initiatives.
Strong leadership skills, the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, an understanding of audience need and commitment to Falkirk Community Trust's core values are essential.
If you are the successful candidate for this post, you will be working with children and/or vulnerable adults and therefore you must have PVG membership.
The successful applicant will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1st July 2011.
