You will attend to the personal, social, recreational and emotional needs of older people within a day care setting and provide a stimulating environment.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland.
You must assist and enable service users of varying abilities to participate in activities.
You will undertake a range of physical care tasks e.g. assisting with feeding/drinking, toileting, administering prescribed medication/treatments to service users if required.
You must have the ability to carry out all moving and handling tasks and be aware of issues affecting older people.
