Senior Client Account Cashier
CMS are looking for an experienced Senior Client Account Cashier to manage the day to day running of a busy Client Account Cashier team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast paced, continuously growing new team and to work for a leading international law firm. About the role Manage the day to day running the Client Account Cashier Team Managing/Monitoring client monies mail box Process monies received into various accounts including ??? and $ Check payments are being effectively dealt with and in accordance with the firms policies Lodging Funds on Deposit accounts Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliation Monitor and record breaches in compliance with the Law Society Accounts Rules Adhere to Firms Anti money laundering regulations Liaise with Partners and Fee Earners re client Monies 6 years of continuous client account cashiering experience essential within a large corporate Legal Firm Experience working for large corporate a law firm Supervisory/Management experience Knowledge of the SRA rules are preferred but not essential, if no knowledge of SRA rules the candidate will be expected to attend various courses Key Skills Good knowledge of legal accounting system (preferably Elite) and strong IT skills Good working knowledge of Internet banking Solid numerical and communication skills Experience dealing with a high volume of transactions Proven experience working to strict deadlines Demonstrates persistence and commitment to completing tasks and objectives Delivers work output to the required standard Ability to work under pressure Flexible working approach Adaptable to changes in the working environment Checks that information is accurate and complete About us CMS is an international organisation with market leading businesses throughout Europe, The Middle East, Asia and beyond.
