Onboarding Analyst - Global Transaction Banking

As a Barclays On-boarding Analyst within Global Transaction Banking (GTB), we will depend on you to complete on-boarding activity for all complex GTB customers, including management of internal and external stakeholders and proactive contribution to the improving the client on-boarding experience. You and the team will work across three specialist areas supporting Global Corporate, Non-Bank Financial Institution and Financial Institution clients; you will have a primary specialism and be able to support across all other areas.

As an On-boarding Analyst (Global Transaction Banking), your main responsibilities will involve:

• Managing the on-boarding of new clients/additional entities with simple product sets and know your client (KYC) end to end
• Achieving the know your client (KYC) accreditation
• Owning of the on-boarding process from the point when your Coverage liaison hands it over to you, with clear communication to all key stakeholders throughout
• Proactively identifying areas for development and taking the necessary actions to up-skill, in order to provide the best possible client experience
• Being the primary point of contact for clients during the on boarding process or additional product setup
• Identifying issues that arise within the activity undertaken to ensure service level agreements (SLA) are not breached through investigation and resolution, educating colleagues as to the steps taken
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, enterprise wide risk management framework and internal Barclays policies and policy standards

As an On-boarding Analyst (Global Transaction Banking), your skills and qualifications will include:
• A strong understanding of know your customer (KYC) requirements
• Strong knowledge of the on boarding function supporting, global transaction banking (GTB) clients
• A good understanding of the GTB customer profile
• Strong stakeholder and customer management
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly self-motivated, with the ability to influence others
• The ability to facilitate discussions and meetings with key stakeholders
