Events and Resiliance Co-ordinator
Support the Depute Chief Executive (Safer Communities) in the effective management, development and implementation of robust events management and strategic resilience arrangements across East Ayrshire, ensuring event management, emergency preparedness, risk, business continuity, special operations and security measures for significant events are undertaken in accordance with all applicable legislative requirements in furtherance of the Council's strategic aims and key objectives in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.
The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.
This is a full time temporary post based at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. This post is temporary for 2 years. The salary for this post is £31,249 - £34,161.
