HR Consultancy are working on a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Authorised Signatory and Policies & Procedures Manager to join a Wealth & Investment banking group in Glasgow city centre!

The Authorised Signatory & Policies & Procedures team reside within Operations, Risk and Regulatory Control. They support the Operations Division in:

1. the review, drafting and storage of Operations Policies & Procedures:
2. the release of courses to employees to fulfil training obligations:
3. building and maintaining the Policy Governance Framework for Operations;
4. monitor and report on all Approved Exclusions to Policy for Operations; and
5. creating, reviewing and updating all Authorised Signatory Lists for Operations.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following responsibilities:

Perform the daily business as per usual processes and maintain desktop procedures for those processes;
Assist management in responding to any ad hoc queries received from Operations, Legal and Compliance in respect of Operations' Policies and Procedures;
Release courses to Operations in line with global requirements;
Perform reviews of Operations' Policies and Procedures and work with the global review/approval groups to review/approve any updates made to the Policies/Procedures;
Facilitate the storage of the Operations' Policies & Procedures on Firm systems;
Perform the required reviews of all Authorised Signatory Lists for Operations and work with

The ideal candidate will have previous experience/knowledge within a Legal, Risk or Compliance ideally from a financial service background related environment and/or a Bachelors degree in a related field. They will be a confident analytical person with excellent oral and written communication skills
