A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Marketing Account Director to join a global marketing consultancy. Having just opened their new branch in New York City, this client works with major global brands and service industries to communicate effectively and scalable with their customers using the channel of their choice.

You will be responsible for delivering on global projects with a global financial services company. You will maintain strict financial control over the delivery costs; ensure client satisfaction is consistently high and that the project team deliver quality work effectively across all requirements. The role can be based in Edinburgh or London. This is a 6 month FTC to deliver on a major project with the possibility for extension or to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain strong and enduring consultative relationships with senior members of the client project teams as the 'project lead' role.
* Deliver strategic content and operational processes to senior client stakeholders.
* Work with team and internal stakeholders to drive and lead the service delivery of the project and achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction at all times.
* Oversee all creative output and ensure measures are in place to critically appraise work before client review.
* Ensure regular flow of client and agency project status reporting, with timely submission of documentation and information.
* Pre-empt and/or troubleshoot and resolve any concerns or areas of client dissatisfaction.
* First point of contact for all client stakeholders and agency management teams, responding to queries and providing all required MI reporting.
* Coach, support and lead the project team to deliver best-in-class service to clients.
* Manage and/or oversee the project budget. Present financial justification for additional or new strategic recommendations to the client.
* Ensure the project is delivered on brief, on time and on budget, using well-defined and clear internal/external briefing, scheduling and ongoing communications.

Key Skills and Experience:
* Minimum 3-6 years account team experience in a BTL/integrated agency environment, preferably with a strong track record in managing significant global projects with extensive market roll-out.
* Experience in a content marketing agency is highly desirable.
* Degree or CIM educated (or similar recognized marketing qualification).
* Experience of leading and managing 5 or more people within an account team. High standards of numeracy, with solid experience of budgeting, forecasting and profit reporting.
* High standards of written and spoken English and polished presentation skills
* Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, Microsoft Project. Ability to adapt to in-house project management systems.
