A competitive basic salary is on offer, as well as a bonus scheme. Some travel is involved to visit clients throughout the UK. However, many of our client meetings are now done via Skype.

Last year we spent about £100,000 on new, bespoke software systems and new hardware. This enables us to work efficiently and provide our clients with many types of reports. Unlike brokers, we do not take commissions from any suppliers. Hence, we can provide our clients with totally independent advice.

Experience of an account management type role within the energy industry
Knowledge of the Scottish Water Market preferred, but not required.
A high level of numeracy is critical to the role, as is numerical accuracy
Able to manage a diverse number of stakeholders internally and externally
Possess excellent customer focused skills and experience of interfacing with clients both on the phone and face to face
Computer literate and experienced in the use of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel, databases and Outlook
Good organisational skills and ability to work independently
Experience of upselling to clients and prospects is preferred
Experience of working towards pre-determined key performance indicators
Ability to cope well under pressure and deal with a diverse workload

Overview of the Role
Managing the energy and water accounts for a portfolio of clients
Account and relationship management
Identifying and implementing savings and solutions for clients
Completing comprehensive audits, reports and meetings
Working closely with the team of consultants, analysts and advisors
Carrying out procurements for utility services, including providing advice on strategy, purchasing options, markets and projections
Data analysis and consumption and cost reporting
Carrying out additional project work such as new utility connections and upgrades
Managing billing errors and disputes
Assisting with compliance management, including CRC, ESOS, CCA
Expected to keep up with all relevant industry and regulatory changes
Maintaining and keeping up to date our systems with all client information and data

Account manager - within the energy industry, diverse number of stakeholders internally and externally.
