Department Profile:
Shared Service and Banking Operations provide utility processing services to Global Operations. By functionalizing processes across segments, SSBO realizes efficiencies through scale, location strategy and adoption of best practices. SSBO provides quality operational core processes at an optimal price point, with maximum benefit to MS business lines. Services currently provided by SSBO include Cash Management, OTC Derivative and Security Settlements, Position Services, Reconciliations, Tax, Client Reference Data, Network Management and Vendor Management.

Team Profile:
The Control Team is responsible for the checking and approving of Servicing Events on the Loans Portfolio in EMEA.

Pr i m a ry R e s p o n s i bili t i e s:
- Checking and Approval of Loan Events, tying out between System & Agent Notices to ensure these are processed timely and accurately
- Reconciliation of trade settlement via Internal MS system
- Upkeep and amending of various policies and procedures
- Dealing with queries received on MS positions from multiple partners
- Working with Vendor Team to ensure critical items are correctly prioritised.
- Break management and resolution.
- Preparation and review of weekly and monthly metrics
- Interaction with senior stakeholders both within Operations and Finance.
- Working as and when required in respect of the roll out of Workflow tools and IT projects
