This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic and innovative manufacturer, dedicated to supplying high quality personal care products to the world's leading brands, retailers and distributors. We manufacture a wide range of premium products including soaps, home fragrance, aromatherapy and perfume oils and a wide selection of gifts.

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Account Manager reporting to the Sales and Business Development Director. We are seeking a personable, capable and conscientious team player who will thrive within a fast moving and exciting environment. This is an office based position, although travel will be involved.

Key Responsibilities:
To ensure the smooth and successful development of new products from start to finish
Provide an excellent level of customer service
Defining of customer needs, internal co-ordination, liaison with suppliers
Completion and monitoring of costs
Packaging development
Management of timelines
Managing client expectations in the event of unforeseen issues
Account development and follow up of new opportunities.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
Proven experience in similar type role preferably within manufacturing environment
Educated to degree level is preferable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at building customer relationships.
Confident presentation manner and experience of chairing customer meetings.
Organisation and time management skills and a genuine ability to manage complex and fluctuating client needs and project deadlines.
Professional and responsible individual with friendly and confident manner
Enthusiastic team player who would relish the opportunity to work in a busy and exciting environment.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Power Point; experience of Adobe Photo shop advantageous. Marketing and Packaging development experience would be advantageous as would a genuine interest in the health and beauty market and any creative abilities.

The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude and be a real team player; in return you will be working on the development of products from start to finish for many of the UK???s and International leading retailers and will be involved in all aspects of the new product development process from obtaining the business to the manufacture of the finished product. This position will initially be for a 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension.
