Fixed Term contract for 5 years. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 11th October 2017 We are looking for an experienced, and self-motivated Museum Project Manager to co-ordinate the development and delivery stages of the Paisley Museum Re-Imagined project. As the flagship for the regeneration of Paisley town centre, the £42m redevelopment is the key to unlocking the potential of Scotland's biggest town. The project itself comprises a campus of four buildings including the Grade-A listed Museum and Coats Observatory. The aim is to provide a world-class visitor experience of international quality across the site which tells the inspirational stories of Paisley, its heritage and its pattern.

You will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale capital projects, preferably in the museum or heritage sector. You will have experience of managing procurement processes including the production of tender documentation and a sound understanding of the RIBA design stages. Experience of HLF-funded projects is desirable. You will be an exceptional team leader with an ability to work with staff, contractors and consultants to develop work programmes to guarantee the timely development and delivery of both the building and the exhibition galleries. You will define and manage the processes for monitoring and reviewing all aspects of project progress as well as managing the interface between consultants, contractors and the client team.
