Business Development Manager - eLearning Solutions

Circa GBP40 - GBP45K Basic + Bonus

Scotland or UK Home-based

This is a new opportunity with a prestigious, award-winning provider of online learning resources, talent assessment and e-learning solutions. Working with a fantastic team of creative, client centric individuals; you will be an ambitious, consultative sales professional with a successful track record within a B2B eLearning market.

Key Responsibilities

*New Business Development including proposing solutions through face to face
meetings, telephone calls, email, WebEx, Networking and written proposals
*To manage successful relationships with allocated key accounts and to maintain a strong business partnership and grow revenue to realistic quarterly targets
*Develop an account strategy and plan for each client to maximise return from each engagement (including up-selling and cross-selling)
*Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the L&D, training sector plus clients' marketplace to gain credibility
*Identify competitive and innovative approaches for presenting products and solutions to clients and share these across the sales team
*Work with the Bid and Production Teams to respond to RFQ / RFP enquiries
*Attend networking events and exhibitions as required
*Build strong relationships with colleagues across the business
*Keep accurate sales and forecast records using Salesforce CRM system

Candidate Requirements
*Experience and success within a consultative solution sales role across the Public, Private and HE sectors
*Adept at relationship building and networking at senior level
*Proven ability to articulate bespoke learning solutions (online learning resources, e-learning and blended learning programmes)
*Ability to manage sometimes complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers
*Keeps abreast of the Learning and Development industry challenges and trends
*Commercial acumen with the ability to maximise long term profitable returns
*Strong negotiation skills with a high degree of integrity
*Proven ability to achieve sales targets in excess of GBP350K per annum
*Ability to scope client needs effectively, therefore enabling conversion of appropriate solution
*Experience of meeting and liaising with senior contacts in Blue Chip organisations
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team approach
*Passion for People Development.
