An opportunity exists for a skilled Business Analyst with experience in post trade operations to join a tier 1 investment banking project to join change management working on the Brexit program. This role will be based in Glasgow.


  • Working as a Business Analyst to support the operations change business relating to Brexit impact
  • Analyse and document business processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies
  • Use knowledge of subject matter and system capabilities to convert business needs into functional specifications
  • Gather and analyse information in relation to processes and requirements
  • Work in conjunction with the technical/IT teams in order to assist solution design
  • Ensure the solutions align with requirements and that they are efficient, consistent and scalable
  • Work to understand the impact of proposed changes and develop guidance and communications for senior management and peer group
  • Supporting and participating in testing activities
  • Complete project work stream deliverables including sign off for area of responsibility
  • Apply best practice concepts and challenge business where required in order to drive solutions
  • Manage stakeholder expectations


  • Experienced Business Analyst, with experience in post trade operations
  • Strong Financial Services background - experience with a Tier 1 investment bank is preferable
  • Proven experience in the delivery of innovative business solutions
  • Previous experience of running/leading workshops with the Business and IT
  • Experience of requirement gathering and converting this into functional business solutions and processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - ability to work with and influence stakeholders at senior levels across multiple business functions
  • Testing experience would be advantageous
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with offshore teams is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Highly proficient in MS Office tools, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
