We are currently looking to recruit a Project Worker 2 to join our service. This is an opportunity to work within a forward thinking residential unit that provides high quality care to young people. The position will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to be involved in all aspects of developing the young people's skills to reach their full potential.

Northern Lights are a residential service for 5 young people (generally aged 14-18), with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties, who were previously accommodated and educated in out of authority placements. The Service aims to enable these young people to ultimately return to their community, live more independent, purposeful lifestyles and fulfil their potential. The role is both challenging and rewarding and requires patience and understanding.

Residential child care staff will be required to hold one of the following:
- Diploma in Social work or equivalent.
- SVQ in Care at level 3 (or be willing to work towards)
- A qualification meeting the registration requirements of the General Teaching Council, Nursing and Midwifery Council, General Medical Council, The British Psychological Society
- HNC in Social Care (or be willing to work towards)
