Working within the Children and Families Disability Team you will be based within Dunfermline however, offer service across the Fife area.
You will work in partnership to provide delivery of high quality services to children and young people affected by disability through robust assessment, direct work with families, and case management processes.
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
The pattern of working hours will be determined for individual remits and on occasions may include evenings and weekends. There will be a requirement to attend meetings outwith normal working hours, when necessary, subject to service user and staff availability.
There will also be a requirement to attend outwith normal working hours for development, training, registration compliance etc when necessary.
You will have considerable experience in a relevant setting.
Knowledge and understanding of Child and Adult Protection guidelines and information sharing protocols is essential together with experience of joint working to achieve common goals.
