Call Handling/Data Entry/Support/Customer Service

Data Protection - call logging - process applications - database - person protection awareness - equality and diversity issues

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced data entry call handler for a 4 months contract with our public-sector client based in Livingston.

You will be required to take incoming enquires, log and process application forms and update databases. The work will be around equality and diversity so a previous knowledge of this area or child and vulnerable person protection is highly desirable for this position.

The client requires someone to be available to start work as of 1st October 2017.

Duties will include -

  • Call logging and dealing with enquires
  • Log and distribute mail
  • Log and process application forms
  • Maintain effective file management in line with Data Protection and company policies

Essential skills -

  • Educated to at least SVQ 4 (SCQF8) level
  • Previous experience of entering data into a database or spread sheet
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Good eye for detail and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • PC literate including Word, Excel and databases
  • Child and vulnerable person protection awareness
  • Awareness of equality and diversity issues, disability
