Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer? Do you have experience of the Water Sector? Do you want to be based in the Central Belt?

If so then this award winning business could be for you. Your potential future employer pride themselves on giving their clients a full turnkey solution from design, manufacture, construct, through to installation and commissioning, so unlike some other contractors within their sphere, they employ their own in-house design team. They are always looking to do things differently and now they`re planning for growth, with a strategy to significantly increase their turnover over the next 5 years. As part of this growth and given the secured workload, they need to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to be based in their Central Belt office.

Focusing on infrastructure improvements and capital maintenance work across both clean and waste water, your key role is going to be to work with internal & external stakeholders to fully develop electrical designs from the initial concept through to detailed design. You`ll also be visiting sites in connection with the design function on specific projects.

As part of the application & interview process you\`ll need to be able to demonstrate:

- a proven track record and experience in electrical design within the water sector.
- a working knowledge in the use of WIMES (Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications)
- relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering

Whilst this position is part of a long term growth plan, it could be carried out by someone on a self-employed freelance basis and we`d be happy to discuss this as part of a confidential discussion around your experience.
