This business, who have previously won a key client`s award for innovation thanks to their unique approach in the clean water sector, are looking to add to their in-house design team. The company pride themselves on giving their clients a full turnkey solution from design, manufacture, construct, through to installation and commissioning. For this reason they offer a fairly unique service to their clients and unlike some other contractors employ their own in-house design team for which they require a Civil Design Engineer to be based just outside of Glasgow. You will play a key role in the success of the company, assisting them with their planned growth strategy which will largely be achieved through their involvement in several significant frameworks over the next 3-4 years.

Focusing on infrastructure improvements and capital maintenance work across both clean and waste water, your key role is going to be working with internal & external stakeholders to fully develop civil designs from the initial concept through to detailed design. In addition to this you will also at times be visiting sites.

As part of the application & interview process you\`ll need to be able to demonstrate:

- A proven track record and experience in civil design, ideally associated with the water sector
- Relevant qualifications
