You will be part of the Adult and Older People's Services Management Team. You will be responsible for the management of a team of Adult and Older People's Social Work staff, to provide a direct Social Work Service to adults and provide professional support and supervision to staff.
This is an opportunity for either an experienced social worker/practitioner or an existing manager who wishes to extend their knowledge and experience within the team. The priorities for the manager will to be to deliver a quality service through supervision and support of the team and by managing the local office budgets. Regular supervision is provided by the Fieldwork Manager and full support will be offered to the post holder by the Adult and Older People's Services Management Team.
All applicants must be registered with Scottish Social Services Council and hold a Degree in Social Work qualification or equivalent.
Employment History/Foreign Police Check
Candidates should be able to detail any gaps in employment and provide a foreign police check where applicable for any periods living or working abroad.
