Based at Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This post is fixed term until 19 August 2020.

This Project is part funded by the European Structural Funds. You will be solely involved in European Social Fund activities (ie spend 100% of your contracted hours on the ESF project only and undertake no other non-ESF project related duties).



Requirements

You will be educated to degree level, or with equivalent relevant experience.



Responsibilities

You will provide day to day monitoring and support in the management of the Dundee Big Lottery ESF Programme and to assist in its overall smooth running by working within the Programme's aims and objectives. In particular to ensure contractual compliance; to approve Financial Inclusion services for payment; and to support Dundee City Council Programme partners and other stakeholders, ensuring administration of contracts and compliance with Structural Funds' rules.

You will also collate and provide performance and financial reports and technical/policy advice.



The Individual

You will have experience in delivering and/or monitoring contracts and of working with multi-partnership networks. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the financial inclusion or advice environment, have experience of chairing meetings or public speaking and be computer literate, including excellent skills in MS Excel and experience of MS Word and MS Powerpoint. You will also have knowledge and experience in the use of management information systems.

You will be able to monitor programme/project performance using statistical/key performance indicator data and prepare and monitor financial budgets and expenditure reports. The ability to prioritise and manage a broad workload and work under pressure of repeated deadlines is also essential, along with first class oral and written communication skills, initiative and creativity with a proven track record as a problem solver. You must also have the ability to form good working relationships with external contractors/partners, be flexible and able to work hours to meet job demands.

A Basic Disclosure Scotland Check is also required.
