We are looking for someone with relevant professional/industrial experience in Built Environment subjects including, Construction Management, BIM and Computer Aided Design (CAD) or, with lecturing experience in these areas, preferably in a Further Education College, and possess a minimum qualification of a Higher National Certificate/Diploma (or equivalent) in a Construction/Built Environment/CAD related discipline.
£31,297 - £37,252 pro rata
Fixed term; one evening per week (6-9pm) Sept 2017-June 2018
You will produce high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and deliver excellent teaching within the specialist area. You will work with others to develop new approaches to teaching, making use of learning technologies.
Ensuring that the curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, you will contribute to the development of elements of provision and enhance students' learning through providing support. You will naturally have a strong learner focus.
Ideally, you will have experience of developing innovative teaching practice along with good organisational skills and evidence of appropriate ICT skills. You will also possess good knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements and a sound understanding of quality standards. Ideally, you will have a Personal Development Award in Teaching, or have a willingness to work towards achieving this award.
