Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
Pinocchio's Nursery was founded in January 1997, and offers care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Since the first nursery opened, Pinocchio's has extended to five sites across Edinburgh and Midlothian. Each nursery has top class facilities and offers the family the very best in childcare. Our aim is to make our nurseries an environment which is focused on the children's social and emotional needs foremost. Our concept is that, if the children are happy then they will develop.
We are now looking for experienced and passionate childcare professionals to join our management team in our Penicuik Nursery . As well as the necessary experience and childcare qualifications you must share our vision to create a happy and fulfilling environment for young children to thrive in.
The Manager position is a permanent position whilst the Deputy Manager/Room Supervisor is a temporary role to cover maternity leave.
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits. Deputy Managers can earn up to £23,000 and Nursery Managers can earn up to £27,000.

Applicants must be registered with the SSSC and possess a knowledge and practical understanding of the Curriculum for Excellence and Prebirth to Three. It would also be beneficial to have gained a BA Childhood Practice or be working towards it but not essential.
If successful, offers will be conditional on satisfactory completion of safer recruitment procedures such as a PVG check, two written references etc.
