Nurture Facilitator (Project Worker 2) (Funded Post)

We are looking for 2 x Nurture Facilitators to join this exciting partnership between Renfrewshire Council and Barnardo's which aims to support children to successfully move through stages of transition fully engaging with learning.
Building on the success of the Early Years Capacity building model, we will use the Five to Thrive approach to support parental understanding of their child's learning and to support professionals to enhance successful transitions.
We know that the Educational Attainment gap starts early and we are taking an attachment informed approach to engage the most disadvantaged families in the curriculum.
As a Barnardo's Nurture facilitator you will support Renfrewshire Council's Attainment Programme by:
Increasing family engagement in the curriculum
Building the home - school connections in learning
Enabling children to make successful transitions
Developing an evidence base of “what works” to support success transitions
have a good understanding of attachment and child development
be skilled at engaging families and understand relationship based interventions
be able to lead innovative projects and capture impact
have experience of data collection and reporting
be able to work in partnership with education colleagues
